If your player is interested in tryout out for a group older than their age group, please have them sign up for both their own age group and the older group.
We held our 13U and 14U tryouts in May and June of 2025 and are currently supporting one team at each of these age groups.

Team Formation
- All players wishing to be rostered must try out. (rare exceptions, with prior notice, will be considered on a case-by-case basis and as approved by the board president and team coach.)
- Tournament baseball determines playing age as of April 30th of the applicable playing season. Players may play up, but not down, although tournament ball does allow for players to play down or up to their grade level.
- Tryouts will be held by age group. Players can try out for an older team (including their “grade age” group), but are strongly encouraged to also try out for age-appropriate teams in case they are not selected to the older team.
- Players wishing to play above their grade or age level, need approval from the board president, vice president and coach.
- Players will be assigned to a team based on assessed ability during the team selection meeting.
- For each age group tryout, players will be assessed by a committee of: two non-team affiliated evaluators and the head coaches of the applicable age bracket. Other coaches may be asked to assist with tryouts if we do not have enough independent evaluators.
- Evaluators and coaches will meet with the board president to select teams as soon as possible after the tryout. Coaches will have discretionary picks (six for rosters of 12 or more, five for rosters of 11 or less), with concurrence by board president.
